Cross-Curricular Learning

Top 10 Spring Craft Ideas

We keep our class sizes small (no more than 20 pupils per class), as we know this is hugely beneficial to our pupils’ learning experience. All of our lessons are taught live by our team of experienced Junior teachers that are there every step of the way to encourage a passion for learning.

Key Stage 2 is offered as a core curriculum package*, and includes a strong focus on cross-curricular learning. This gives pupils exposure to a range of experiences that reflect both a discipline-field and an interdisciplinary orientation. Quality primary education

Class sizes are small, a maximum of 20 pupils in any class. This ensures that each pupil receives the vital teacher attention and promotes personalised learning where every child can learn and achieve at their own pace. Lessons are every week day morning of term time and every lesson is recorded. This means pupils, and parents, can revisit the lesson at any time, ensuring that no topic or subject is left without being fully understood.

A school with a vision

At King’s InterHigh Primary the vision is for each pupil to graduate as an avid and thriving young learner. They will actively seek learning opportunity in all aspects of their lives and will carry the requisite foundation knowledge and skills to excel in the learning challenges ahead. Great schools recognise that learning is lifelong, therefore at King’s InterHigh we reject myopic, self-serving pedagogies that focus exclusively on maximising short term academic grades. Instead the priority is both current learning but the equipping of each pupil to thrive in the long run.

Values Education and Life Skills

Constitutional and universal values should also be encouraged amongst students. Hygiene, sanitation, dedication, honesty, truthfulness, kindness, empathy respect for the environment, elders and all living things etc. are the values that our students must actively practice. Parents may also support schools in cultivating disciplined behaviour in their wards. Class teacher will grade the students on a Five- point scale (A to E) keeping in view the overall attendance, sincerity, values and behaviour of the students. Values Education Resource Book and Kit developed by CBSE may be used for inculcating values in students.

Similarly, schools endeavour to inculcate Life Skills and 21st Century Skills as per the directions and material developed by CBSE.
